Risk Analyst

Role Description The Risk Analyst at Asociación Española de Empleo con Apoyo (AESE) will work part time in a remote capacity, supporting the organization in identifying, assessing, and monitoring financial and operational risks. This role involves analyzing data from various programs and funding sources, preparing risk reports, and recommending mitigation strategies to support decision-making. The Risk Analyst will collaborate with internal stakeholders to review risk exposures, refine controls, and help develop policies that align with AESE’s mission and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day activities include conducting risk assessments, tracking key risk indicators, contributing to risk documentation, and providing clear, data-driven insights to management.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Statistics abilities to interpret data, identify trends, and support evidence-based risk assessments.
Candidates should possess Risk Analysis expertise to evaluate exposure, perform qualitative and quantitative assessments, and propose mitigation measures.
Candidates should possess Finance knowledge to understand budgets, funding streams, and financial impacts of risk scenarios.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to present findings clearly, prepare reports, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Relevant experience in risk management, compliance, or data analysis, ideally within non-profit or social services environments.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and basic data analysis tools; familiarity with risk assessment frameworks is an advantage.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time hours effectively, and meet deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
