About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Who we are
Ai Case Leads is an attorney case acquisition company. We deliver fully signed personal injury retainer agreements to law firms nationwide.
Most marketing companies hand a law firm a phone number and wish them luck. We take it all the way to a signed case. Our intake team talks to people right after an accident, often on one of the worst days of their lives. We figure out quickly whether they have a real claim, explain how the process works, and get the firm’s retainer signed correctly while they’re still on the line. The firm gets a client who is qualified, signed and ready to work. No chasing, no tire-kickers, no half-finished paperwork.
That model only works if our people are sharp. Our remote team of 50–60 reps handles thousands of conversations a month across phone, SMS and email. Every one of those conversations counts: it’s a real person who needs help, and a law firm counting on us to get it right.
Why this role exists
We’ve grown fast, and the owner is still the person everyone goes to for answers. They decide which cases qualify, catch signing mistakes, cover shifts and coach reps on the fly. That has to change, and that’s where you come in.
You’ll be the #2 in the company. You report directly to the owner, and everyone on the sales floor reports to you: team leads, our new-hire trainer, and every setter, closer, SMS rep and email rep. Our trainer runs onboarding for every new class, which leaves no one to keep developing the reps already on the floor. You’ll own that, and you’ll bring the sales depth that makes the whole team better, training included.
This isn’t a “support the manager” job. You are the manager.
What you’ll do
Be the answer. Reps and team leads come to you all day with questions like: Does this case qualify? Should we sign it? What do I say when they push back? You make the call quickly and correctly, and you teach people along the way so they need you less over time.
Protect every signed case. A wrong agreement, a bad signature or missing information means a re-sign, an unhappy firm and a dent in our reputation. You catch those mistakes, get them fixed fast, and track down why they happened so they stop happening.
Run the floor. Everyone clocked in. Everyone on SMS. Every shift covered, even when people request time off. You manage the schedule and the team leads so the floor never runs short.
Build better salespeople. You’ll listen to calls every week and coach reps on persuasion, rapport, objection handling and closing. You’ll know which techniques work, why they work, and how to teach them to a setter in their second week as well as a closer who has hit a plateau. You’ll also work with our trainer to make onboarding stronger.
Hold the line. You set the standard and enforce it. That means honest feedback, documented coaching, and making the hard call when someone won’t improve.
Keep us compliant. Personal injury intake is heavily regulated. You’ll make sure every call, text and signing follows consent requirements, TCPA and DNC rules, attorney advertising rules and our approved scripts, and you’ll correct anyone who drifts.
The reality of this job
Our operation runs around the clock, and so does this role. You’ll be the go-to person close to 24/7, 365 days a year. Most of it can be handled from your phone, but you need to be reachable, responsive and in control even when you’re not at your desk.
If you want a predictable 9–5, this isn’t the job. If you want to own an operation, have real authority and get paid like it, read on.
Who you are
A real salesperson. You have at least 5 years in phone sales and you understand persuasion: why people say yes, and why they hesitate. Car sales, insurance, solar, legal intake, high-ticket closing: we care how good you are, not which industry you came from.
A proven leader. You’ve managed a phone-based sales or call center team of 25+ people, ideally remote, and made it better. You can point to reps you developed and results you moved.
A coach, not just a closer. Plenty of great closers can’t teach. You can listen to a call, find the exact moment it went wrong, and show someone how to fix it.
Calm and decisive. You make dozens of judgment calls a day without waiting for permission, and you’re usually right.
Detail-obsessed. You notice the unchecked box, the wrong name and the agreement that doesn’t match the case.
Firm and fair. You can hold people accountable without losing the room.
All in. You want to be someone’s right hand and take a business off their plate, and you’re ready for the hours that come with it.
Big pluses: personal injury, mass tort or legal intake experience; working knowledge of TCPA and legal marketing compliance; experience with dialers like CallTools or Convoso and CRMs like GoHighLevel; bilingual in English and Spanish.
Why you’ll want this
Real authority. You run the floor. You’re not a middle manager waiting on approvals.
Direct line to the owner. You’ll work side by side with leadership and shape how the company operates and grows.
Work that matters. Every case your team signs connects an injured person with a lawyer who can help them.
Fully remote. Lead the team from anywhere.
Room to grow. As we scale, this role scales with us.
