About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
We are looking for an eager, curious Frontend Developer Intern to join our engineering team. In this role, you will work alongside senior engineers and product designers to build responsive, accessible web interfaces and turn Figma designs into real, functional features.
This is a hands-on learning role. You won’t just be shadowing—you’ll be writing code, submitting pull requests, fixing bugs, and learning how modern software products are built and shipped at scale.
What You’ll Do
* Implement responsive, accessible UI components using HTML5, modern CSS (or Tailwind CSS), and JavaScript/TypeScript.
* Build features and interactive views using modern frontend frameworks like [React / Next.js / Vue.js].
* Translate Figma or wireframe designs into pixel-accurate, functional web pages.
* Connect frontend components to RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous data loading.
* Write clean, readable code and participate in code reviews with senior engineers.
* Assist in troubleshooting UI bugs, layout issues, and cross-browser quirks.
What We’re Looking For
* Solid understanding of frontend fundamentals: HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
* Familiarity with at least one modern library or framework (e.g., React, Next.js, or Vue.js).
* Basic knowledge of Git and GitHub (creating branches, making commits, opening pull requests).
* Demonstrated passion for frontend development through personal projects, coursework, bootcamps, or open-source contributions (GitHub link or live demo required).
* Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward feedback.
* Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Bonus Points If You Have
* Familiarity with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS.
* Basic understanding of REST APIs and how to fetch data asynchronously.
* Exposure to state management tools or modern build tools (Vite, Next.js routing, etc.).
What We Offer
* Hands-on mentorship: Direct pairing and feedback from experienced engineers.
* Real impact: Work on actual features that get shipped to users.
* Location: Remote
* Growth potential: High performers may be considered for a full-time Junior Frontend role upon completion.
