This role focuses on researching businesses, identifying relevant opportunities, initiating professional conversations, understanding client requirements, nurturing relationships, and coordinating the client journey from initial engagement through onboarding and ongoing communication.
You will work closely with internal teams and senior management to understand our services, communicate our brand positioning, and support business growth through effective research, communication, coordination, and relationship management.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication and research skills, a structured approach to follow-ups, and an interest in building meaningful professional relationships.
Key Responsibilities

Research industries, companies, and business segments to identify relevant opportunities.
Understand prospective clients' business profiles, needs, and suitability for our services.
Monitor industry developments and market trends to identify potential areas for growth.
2. Professional Outreach and Communication
Initiate professional conversations with prospective clients through LinkedIn, email, telephone, and other relevant channels.
Introduce the company's services and communicate relevant information clearly.
Manage follow-ups, respond to enquiries, and maintain consistent communication with prospective clients.
3. Client Relationship Management
Build and nurture professional relationships with prospective and existing clients.
Understand client requirements and coordinate with the relevant internal stakeholders.

Collect, verify, and organise relevant client information and documentation.
Coordinate with internal teams to complete onboarding formalities.
Track pending requirements and ensure timely completion of documentation.
5. Opportunity Assessment and Internal Coordination
Understand client requirements and assess their suitability for the company's offerings.
Maintain engagement with prospective clients by sharing relevant information and addressing initial queries.
Coordinate with Business Development Managers and senior management for discussions involving proposals, commercial terms, or specialised requirements.
Ensure smooth handovers by maintaining clear records of client needs and previous interactions.
6. CRM and Database Management
Maintain accurate and organised prospect and client databases.
Record communication history, follow-ups, client requirements, and onboarding progress in CRM systems or internal trackers.
Keep client information updated and accessible to relevant team members.
Maintain structured records to support efficient coordination and continuity.

Coordinate with colleagues and senior management to address client requirements and support ongoing business activities.
8. Industry Awareness and Business Growth
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.

Contribute to business growth through effective outreach, relationship management, client coordination, and ongoing engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
0–3 years of experience in business development, client relationship management, partnerships, or a related client-facing role.
Candidates with practical experience in client engagement and relationship development are preferred over those whose experience is limited exclusively to database creation or back-end research.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good research, analytical, and organisational abilities.
Confidence in initiating professional conversations and interacting with clients.
Familiarity with LinkedIn, email communication, client databases, CRM tools, or lead management systems.
