Role Description:
The Executive - Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing electrical distribution panel solutions in line with project specifications and industry standards. This full-time, on-site role based in Rajkot includes preparing detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and documentation using CAD tools, and coordinating with production, quality, and project teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs. The role involves reviewing client requirements, contributing to product design improvements, supporting SITC (supply, installation, testing, and commissioning) activities from a design perspective, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory norms. The Executive – Design Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, maintain design records, and assist in cost optimization and standardization of design practices.
Qualifications:
Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering with practical exposure to industrial electrical systems and panels.
Experience in Design Engineering, including development of technical drawings, layouts, and schematics.
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for electrical or mechanical design activities.
Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles relevant to panel construction, enclosures, and component mounting.
Background in Product Design, focusing on functional, safe, and efficient electrical solutions.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Understanding of relevant standards, safety codes, and best practices in electrical design and installation.
Ability to interpret technical specifications, single-line diagrams, and wiring schedules.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities for working with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Experience in renewable energy or industrial automation projects is an advantage.
