EUV International Mechanical Install Engineer

Introduction

This team will be based in Ireland as part of the EU EUV UIR department and will focus on flying out to customer sites around the world and supporting in the EU region. The team will primarily perform reinstalls but also other UIR (upgrade, install and relocation) activities as per business needs.
Role and responsibilities
To be able to transfer a fully tested and qualified lithography machine at our client’s site, you will be cross trained in multiple activities within a unique cleanroom environment. Besides that, as an International UIR Mechanical Reinstall Engineer you will:
Perform mechanical installation, adjustment, commissioning of a complete machine;
Install ASML equipment (NXE) at customer locations;
Perform complex adjustments, perform upgrades, diagnose and solve problems with limited support;
Work in accordance with the installation sequence and installation procedures;
Work in shift schedule (12-hour rotations) at customer sites around the world;
Take ownership, lead a shift to deliver quality;
Manage technical escalations;
Contribute to the improvement loop of our lithography machines and processes;
Represent ASML at the customer site in a professional way;
When not working abroad, the engineer is expected to assist local customers.
Education and experience
To help us tackle the technical challenges we face, you need:
Experienced vocational background or Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (preferably mechanical, aerospace, electronic, mechatronics engineering);
Hands-on experience in a high-tech production or customer service environment;
Proven affinity with assembling and troubleshooting is essential;
A valid driver’s license;
Legally authorized to access controlled technology as defined in Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730 et seq.).

Travel is estimated to be around 75%. This percentage is an estimate and can be revisited in mutual agreement.
The home location will be Leixlip, Ireland. Main locations for travel are supporting worldwide, Israel and the in the European Union. (Re)installations/other UIR activities will be supported on all EUV customer sites worldwide.
Candidate should be able to travel to the EU with no barriers (next day travel) and should have the ability to get proper visa to other locations when required.
