Urgent Hiring | Manager – Purchase & SCM

Our client is urgently looking out for an experienced Manager – Purchase & Supply Chain Management for their growing solar and renewable energy business.
📍 Location: Thane, Maharashtra
💰 Salary: Up to ₹15 LPA
💼 Experience:7–12 years
🎓 Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a relevant discipline. MBA/Postgraduate qualification in SCM or Operations is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute procurement activities based on project requirements, budgets, and timelines.
* Manage sourcing of solar modules, inverters, transformers, cables, switchgear, mounting structures, and other solar equipment.
* Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships and identify alternative suppliers.
* Negotiate pricing, payment terms, credit periods, delivery schedules, and warranties.
* Manage purchase orders, contracts, material deliveries, and quality coordination.
* Oversee logistics, inventory management, and material movement across project sites.
* Monitor procurement costs, budgets, savings, and cash flow.
* Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Quality, Finance, and vendors to ensure timely material availability.
* Maintain procurement MIS, track vendor performance, and guide the purchase team.
Candidate Requirements:
* 7–12 years of experience in Purchase and Supply Chain Management.
Prior experience in the solar industry is mandatory.
* Hands-on experience in procurement for solar EPC, rooftop solar, or utility-scale solar projects.
* Strong commercial negotiation, vendor management, and cost-control skills.
* Experience managing procurement across multiple projects and locations.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/procurement management systems.
* Willingness to travel to project sites and vendor facilities as required.
