Role Description The Reporter role at TinyVerse is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Reporter will identify and develop story ideas, conduct interviews, gather facts, and verify information for news and feature pieces. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clear, accurate, and engaging articles, covering events, monitoring news sources, and collaborating with editors and multimedia teams to produce content in various formats. The Reporter will be expected to meet deadlines, follow editorial guidelines, and maintain high ethical standards while representing TinyVerse in the field and in the newsroom.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Reporting and News Writing skills to cover stories accurately and clearly.
Candidates should possess excellent Writing and Communication skills to convey complex information in an accessible manner.
Candidates should possess Multimedia skills to work with photos, video, audio, and digital platforms as needed.
Candidates should have strong research, fact-checking, and critical thinking abilities.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced newsroom environment and meeting tight deadlines.
A bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, media studies, or a related field is preferred.
Prior internship or professional experience in newsrooms or media organizations is beneficial.
Familiarity with digital publishing tools, social media, and basic SEO practices is an advantage.
