Job Summary
We are looking for experienced Medical Coding QA professionals specializing in Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding for Inpatient (IP) and Outpatient (OP) services or Radiology coding. Candidates must have prior QA experience and the required RL and CPC credentials.
Key Responsibilities
Perform quality audits of medical coding records for accuracy and compliance.
Review E/M IP & OP or Radiology coding based on the assigned specialization.
Identify coding errors, documentation gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
Provide constructive feedback and guidance to coding professionals.
Ensure compliance with applicable coding guidelines and client-specific requirements.
Track quality scores, identify recurring errors, and support corrective action plans.
Assist with quality improvement initiatives and coding process standardization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory prior experience in medical coding quality assurance (QA).
Specialization in E/M IP & OP coding or Radiology QA.
RL and CPC certifications are mandatory.
Strong knowledge of medical coding guidelines and auditing procedures.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and the ability to provide clear audit feedback.
