Lead Product Designer, AI

For our client, we are seeking a Lead Product Designer, AI to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.
This role will shape intuitive, high-impact AI experiences across a broad software portfolio, with a focus on delivering practical value to users and the business. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and leadership partners to unify AI capabilities into cohesive experiences. The position calls for a strong design leader who can balance user needs, technical feasibility, and product strategy while elevating craft and systems thinking across the team.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $159,858 – $251,450 annually
Responsibilities
Craft AI experiences for the company's flagship AI product
Collaborate across the company's app portfolio on applied AI initiatives
Lead by example in designing AI-driven solutions
Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to unify AI capabilities
Work with diverse teams to advocate for user experience and deliver high-quality products
Qualifications
7+ years of product design experience in complex or enterprise-level software
Experience in applied AI for product experiences like Search and AI Chat
Ability to balance customer needs with business goals and technical feasibility
Strong craft and systems thinking skills for integrating team efforts
Proven track record of improving processes to enhance product value and team velocity
