Responsibilities
The Accountant will be responsible for supporting the company's day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and financial records.
Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, supplier invoices, and customer payments.
Prepare financial statements and periodic financial reports.
Monitor expenses, payments, collections, and outstanding balances.
Review financial documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and external stakeholders on accounting matters.
Support financial analysis and compliance with applicable accounting and tax requirements.
Assist with other accounting and finance-related tasks as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in accounting or financial operations.
Good knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
Familiarity with VAT and applicable tax requirements; experience in UAE accounting is a plus, while familiarity with International accounting practices is an advantage.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books, and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and meet deadlines.
