DevOps Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize our development and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, containerization, and monitoring tools. The candidate will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
Manage cloud infrastructure using AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Implement and maintain containerization solutions using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
Monitor application performance, system availability, and infrastructure health.
Troubleshoot deployment failures, production incidents, and infrastructure-related issues.
Implement security best practices, access controls, and vulnerability management.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline software releases.
Maintain version control and source code repositories using Git and platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
Develop scripts using Python, Bash, or Shell to automate repetitive operational tasks.
Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and infrastructure configurations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
2–6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Proficiency in Linux administration and troubleshooting.
Working knowledge of Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
Understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and cloud security.
Knowledge of Git-based version control and branching strategies.
