Role Description The Storekeeper role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bahadurpur. The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving and unloading deliveries, verifying quantities and quality, and organizing items in designated storage areas. Day-to-day tasks include managing inventory records, monitoring stock levels, preparing goods for dispatch, and packing orders accurately for customers or onward shipment. The role also involves operating equipment such as forklifts when needed, maintaining a clean and safe warehouse or store environment, and following basic safety and handling procedures. The Storekeeper may coordinate with suppliers and customers to schedule deliveries, resolve stock discrepancies, and support smooth, timely distribution of goods.
Qualifications
Inventory-focused skills: candidates should possess Inventory Control and Inventory Management skills to track stock levels, record movements, and prevent shortages or overstock.
Material handling skills: candidates should possess Unloading and Forklift Operation skills to safely receive goods, move items within the facility, and handle heavy or bulk materials.
Order preparation skills: candidates should possess Packing skills to prepare, label, and organize orders accurately for dispatch or storage.
Additional skills: basic math and record-keeping abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
