Accountant

We are seeking for a detailed oriented Accountant to join our Finance team in the dynamic iGaming sector, in our office in Nicosia. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across PSPs, banks, and financial operations, and will play a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient financial processes in a high-volume environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform monthly accounting tasks, including journal entries and financial reporting support.
Verify and validate financial data and supporting documentation from multiple sources.
Monitor and review financial transactions across PSPs, banks, and providers.
Identify discrepancies or irregularities and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and supporting documentation.
Support payment processes, including supplier payments and financial operations.
Assist in month-end closing activities and reporting.
Identify process gaps and propose improvements to financial procedures and controls.
Communicate findings related to internal or external discrepancies and recommend solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams and participate in ad hoc finance projects.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (or LCCI Level 3 Higher).
4–5 years of experience in a finance/accounting role, ideally within iGaming.
Experience working with PSPs, payment flows, and financial operations.
Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Fluent in English.
