Quality Control Operative

This is a “hands on” role working as part of a small team within a busy QC/packing department. The purpose of this role is to maintain the highest standards of quality control throughout the finishing, packing, and dispatching process.
Key Responsibilities
This is an on-site position.
Consistently maintaining high standards of Quality Control.
Finishing (cutting/counting) & packing printed products.
Ensuring check procedures are followed.
Preparing for daily dispatches ensuring correct shipping information is supplied.
Stock control.
Investigate operational incidents, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement long-term corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Identify workflow bottlenecks and proactively develop practical solutions to optimize process efficiency.
Experience in a production environment.
Keen eye for details and good organisation skills.
Strong analytical mindset with experience using data-driven problem-solving techniques.
Proactive, dynamic, and able to use initiative.
Self-motivated and reliable with a desire to learn new skills.
Ability to work with tight deadlines remaining calm in a busy environment
