About The Role
Everpure, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Quality Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of our flagship storage products, FlashBlade and FlashArray. As a Quality Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing testing and qualification processes for product releases. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, support, and escalation teams to ensure that each release meets the highest standards of quality and performance. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of storage systems, strong automation skills, and hands-on experience with interoperability testing across Linux, Windows, and VMware environments. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Extensive experience in storage systems testing and quality assurance is essential. Strong proficiency in Python for test automation is required, along with a solid understanding of storage protocols and interoperability testing. Hands-on experience with Linux, Windows, and VMware environments is necessary, as is familiarity with lab equipment and testing tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial, as is the ability to perform root-cause analysis. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Prior experience working in a fast-paced tech company and familiarity with Agile methodologies will be considered a plus.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans to validate new features and product releases. You will automate repetitive testing tasks using Python and other scripting tools to improve efficiency and coverage. Collaborating with engineering teams, you will identify potential issues early in the development cycle and work proactively to resolve them. You will also participate in root-cause analysis for complex issues, providing actionable insights to engineering teams for resolution. Managing test environments and maintaining lab equipment will be part of your responsibilities to ensure accurate and consistent testing conditions. Additionally, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by refining testing methodologies and automation frameworks. Your role will involve detailed documentation of test results, defect tracking, and reporting to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the release process.
