About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting a Department of Defense (DoD) client. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering data engineering and analytical solutions that support critical defense initiatives. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team comprising clients, project managers, data scientists, and developers to design, implement, and optimize data systems and workflows. Your expertise will help transform complex data into actionable insights, ensuring the client’s mission success. This position requires a strong foundation in data modeling, data integration, and software development, along with excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders and team members. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess an active and maintained "SECRET" federal or DoD security clearance, reflecting their ability to handle sensitive information securely. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field is required. Candidates should have at least three (3) years of relevant experience in data science, data management, data engineering, or technology consulting, demonstrating a proven track record of delivering complex data solutions. Strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work effectively within a team are essential. Experience with data modeling, data integration, and software development principles is crucial for success in this role. Additionally, familiarity with federal and DoD data security standards and best practices is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer at Guidehouse, your responsibilities will include designing and developing scalable data pipelines and workflows to support analytical and operational needs.
