Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Fashion Designer supporting India’s Future Investors. The Fashion Designer will conceptualize and develop costume and wardrobe looks that reflect the show’s brand, themes, and contestant personalities. Day-to-day tasks include creating mood boards, sketches, and design concepts; coordinating textiles and embellishments; and ensuring garments meet visual, functional, and comfort requirements for filming. The role involves collaborating closely with producers, art directors, and talent to align designs with storylines, challenges, and on-screen aesthetics. The Fashion Designer will also manage fittings (virtual and in-person as needed), oversee sample and final garment production with vendors or artisans, and maintain digital documentation of designs, measurements, and style guidelines for ongoing episodes and promotional shoots.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Fashion Design and Fashion skills, with the ability to translate creative concepts into cohesive on-screen looks.
Candidates should possess expertise in Textiles and Embroidery to select suitable fabrics, embellishments, and finishes for camera-ready garments.
Candidates should possess practical experience in Fitting to ensure garments are tailored for comfort, movement, and flattering silhouettes under studio lighting.
Relevant skills such as costume design for TV or film, color theory, and trend awareness in contemporary Indian and global fashion are highly beneficial.
Ability to work remotely with digital design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CLO3D or similar), manage timelines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional creative teams.
Strong portfolio demonstrating fashion or costume design for media, events, or performance; prior experience in entertainment, reality shows, or production environments is a plus.
Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Costume Design, Textile Design, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
