About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Writer IV to join our dynamic team remotely for a duration of five months. In this role, you will play a critical part in creating comprehensive and user-friendly documentation for our Salesforce application, specifically focusing on the AgentExchange platform. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate closely with developers, quality engineers, product managers, and usability experts to produce high-quality user interface text, online help resources, developer guides, and other technical documentation. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with a passion for technology, excellent communication skills, and an understanding of how effective documentation impacts the overall success of a product. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while working in a flexible, remote environment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess 6-8 years of technical writing experience, demonstrating a proven track record as a Grade IV Technical Writer. Experience with self-directed research and effective collaboration within cross-functional teams is essential. Candidates should have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. Familiarity with AI tools used for content creation and editing is highly desirable. Additional experience with software app stores, either as an app store team member or software developer, is considered a plus. Candidates should also have teachable skills in Salesforce-specific content tooling, enabling them to adapt to specialized tools and workflows used within the Salesforce ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include creating, updating, and maintaining documentation for Salesforce AgentExchange, ensuring all materials adhere to established format, content, and style guidelines. You will develop technical manuals, installation guides, user manuals, and related business process documentation, maintaining accuracy, consistency, and high quality across all deliverables. Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams such as developers, quality engineers, product managers, and usability experts will be crucial to gather necessary information and ensure clarity. You will utilize innovative technical communication tools and Agile methodologies to deliver timely and impactful documentation. Additionally, you will review and edit content to ensure it simplifies complex technical information, making it accessible and useful for end-users and technical audiences alike. Your role may also involve participating in team meetings, providing feedback on product features, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the documentation process.
