The Role
We are seeking a U.S.-based Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant for an independent professional engagement with an anticipated term of five to six months. You will deliver full-cycle recruitment for experienced employees and independent professionals across management consulting and relevant corporate disciplines. The assignment requires credible partnership with senior hiring leaders, sound candidate assessment, and ownership from role definition through offer acceptance and handover.
You will work remotely and apply independent professional judgment within agreed priorities and deliverables.
Compensation: $100–$125 USD per hour, based on relevant experience and demonstrated capability. Expected weekly hours: up to 30, varying with hiring priorities and approved assignments. This estimate does not establish a minimum workload or fee. Compensation is for authorized services actually performed at the agreed hourly rate.
The Professional Services Agreement and statement of work will define the scope, term, authorized hours, time reporting, payment, and termination. Maintain accurate time records and obtain advance written approval before exceeding authorized hours. Payments are made twice monthly under the agreement. The agreed rate applies for the initial assignment; any extension or rate change requires mutual written agreement.
P&C Global will provide access to its required recruiting systems. Sourcing, advertising, travel, and other reimbursable expenses require prior written approval. You will exercise independent judgment in how you deliver the agreed services, subject to firm confidentiality, security, and coordination requirements.
Responsibilities
• Translate hiring needs into clear role briefs, competency-based selection criteria, and practical search plans with hiring leaders. Confirm priorities, decision makers, compensation parameters, sourcing and shortlist milestones, and dependencies before launching each search.
• Own the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, outreach, screening, interview coordination, feedback follow-up, offer support, and handover. Maintain momentum across searches, communicate compensation and offers within P&C Global-approved parameters, and route hiring decisions to the designated decision makers.
• Develop targeted sourcing strategies for consulting and other professional disciplines, using market mapping, professional networks, referrals, and relevant platforms to identify and engage qualified active and passive candidates.
• Assess candidates through structured interviews and agreed skills or work evidence. Present concise recommendations, document strengths and gaps against selection criteria, and support verification through the approved selection process.
• Maintain accurate, current ATS records, including outreach history, assessment evidence, interview feedback, candidate status, and next actions. Handle candidate and firm information confidentially using approved systems.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with candidates and stakeholders. Acknowledge project communications within one business day on agreed working days, meet agreed deadlines, follow through on commitments, and escalate risks or missing decisions early with proposed actions.
• Provide a concise weekly pipeline report covering each search, candidate quality and progression, sourcing effectiveness, outstanding decisions, hours used, and next steps. Recommend adjustments when evidence indicates a search approach needs to change.
• Coordinate agreed meetings and follow-up across relevant time zones, communicate scheduling constraints promptly, and maintain orderly handovers. Leave complete search records and clear next actions when the assignment concludes.
Delivery Standards and Performance Reviews
Performance will be reviewed at approximately 30, 60, and 90 days against agreed scope, quality, timeliness, communication, and documented progress. Continuation of the engagement and further assignments depend on satisfactory performance under the agreement. Targets will reflect authorized hours, role difficulty, market conditions, system access, and hiring-team decisions and response times.
• 30 days: Confirm role briefs, selection criteria, search priorities, and baseline pipeline measures. Agree realistic search milestones and candidate-quality targets with hiring leaders and demonstrate the quality of initial sourcing, candidate evaluation, and reporting.
• 60 days: Demonstrate a relevant, progressing pipeline against agreed search milestones; review shortlist quality, stage progression, ATS accuracy, stakeholder feedback, delivery reliability, and the effectiveness of search adjustments.
• 90 days: Demonstrate sustained execution, timely follow-through, and a professional candidate and stakeholder experience. Review offer and hiring outcomes where available, address performance gaps, and agree priorities for the remaining assignment.
Required Skills and Experience
• Five or more years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including demonstrated success recruiting experienced professionals within the management consulting sector and partnering credibly with senior hiring leaders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including concise candidate recommendations, sensitive conversations, compensation discussions, and practical escalation of issues.
• Strong sourcing, structured assessment, and hiring judgment, supported by recent examples of relevant placements, sound candidate evaluation, and reliable execution.
• Proficiency with ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and modern sourcing tools, together with disciplined data handling and the ability to learn P&C Global’s approved systems.
• Ability to prioritize multiple searches across different disciplines, exercise independent judgment, maintain detailed records, and deliver with limited direction while collaborating effectively with hiring teams.
