The Role
P&C Global is seeking a Senior Content Strategist and Copywriter for an open-ended independent professional engagement focused on B2B management consulting content. The role combines editorial strategy with hands-on research, interviewing, writing, and editing for Global 500 C-suite executives and their key stakeholders.
Compensation: $135–$165 USD per hour, based on directly relevant experience, subject matter expertise, and demonstrated writing quality. Expected weekly hours: approximately 40, subject to approved assignments and actual business needs. This estimate does not establish a minimum workload or fee.
Payment is for authorized substantive services actually performed, including research, interviews, planning, writing, editing, and agreed review discussions, at one agreed hourly rate. The Professional Services Agreement and statement of work govern scope, time reporting, payment, and termination. Maintain accurate time records and obtain advance written approval before exceeding authorized hours. Payments are made twice monthly under the agreement. The rate will be reviewed annually; any change requires mutual written agreement.
P&C Global will provide access to its required content and collaboration systems. You will exercise independent professional judgment in how you deliver the agreed services, subject to firm confidentiality, security, and coordination requirements.
Project Details:
Lead the planning and delivery of P&C Global’s marketing content for our website and LinkedIn. Translate complex business strategies, operating challenges, and client outcomes into clear content supported by evidence and useful to senior executives. Apply management consulting expertise, editorial judgment, and relevant search and platform practices while working closely with marketing and subject matter experts.
P&C Global has an established brand voice and declared point of view. Adopt that voice consistently and maintain a prioritized content calendar aligned with the firm’s key domains, audience interests, and approved marketing objectives. Deliver accurate, clear drafts that need minimal substantive rewriting and respond constructively to editorial feedback.
• For major assignments, agree the brief, deliverables, effort estimate, review dates, and budget before starting. Flag scope or estimate changes before undertaking additional work.
• Coordinate reviews through one designated P&C Global approval owner, work from consolidated feedback, and maintain current drafts and supporting sources in approved systems.
• Acknowledge project communications within one business day on agreed working days, keep the delivery schedule current, and promptly flag obstacles or changes that could affect quality, timing, or budget.
Delivery Standards and Performance Reviews
• First 30 days: Demonstrate command of P&C Global’s voice and key subject areas; agree an initial 90-day editorial calendar, source and approval process, and effort estimates; and complete initial assignments with documented sources.
• By 60 days: Independently produce the agreed website and LinkedIn content, conduct effective subject matter interviews, and demonstrate consistent accuracy and voice with feedback focused on editorial refinement.
• By 90 days: Own the agreed editorial calendar and content pipeline, reliably deliver authorized assignments within agreed deadlines and approved hour budgets, and use available performance data and stakeholder feedback to recommend improvements to topics, formats, and content.
Performance will be reviewed at approximately 30, 60, and 90 days and periodically thereafter. Expectations will reflect the assignments and hours actually authorized, access to source material and subject matter experts, and agreed review timelines. Continued assignments depend on satisfactory quality, accuracy, timeliness, reliability, communication, and professional judgment under the agreement.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Senior B2B Experience: Substantial experience creating content for management consultancies or comparable advisory and professional services firms, supported by a portfolio of personally authored work for senior business audiences.
• Executive Writing: Exceptional ability to develop concise, distinctive arguments, explain their commercial implications, and adapt complex material for senior decision-makers.
• Management Consulting Acumen: Ability to understand business strategy, operating models, transformation, and client outcomes; write credibly for Global 500 C-suite audiences; and adapt context and tone for global readers.
• Storytelling and Interviewing: Ability to identify a compelling business narrative, ask precise questions of partners and subject matter experts, and turn interviews and source material into insightful content.
• AI Fluency and Judgment: Practical experience using approved enterprise AI tools to support research, synthesis, drafting, and editing. Independently verify outputs and sources and retain responsibility for originality, accuracy, and editorial quality. Protect confidential information and use only P&C Global-approved AI tools for engagement work.
• Search and Platform Knowledge: Current understanding of website SEO and GEO, search intent, content structure, and effective LinkedIn publishing, applied without compromising executive relevance or readability.
• Research and Fact Discipline: Ability to evaluate sources, reconcile inconsistent information, validate statistics and client outcomes, and distinguish evidence from inference. Maintain a traceable source record and seek clarification where claims cannot be substantiated.
• Content Range: Experience producing substantive thought leadership, white papers, case studies, service and industry pages, and LinkedIn content with the depth and format appropriate to each assignment.
• Senior Stakeholder Collaboration: Professional, constructive communication with marketing teams, partners, and subject matter experts; confidence in asking precise questions, addressing disagreement, and incorporating consolidated feedback.
• Delivery and Budget Management: Proven ability to maintain an editorial calendar, estimate effort, manage concurrent assignments, meet deadlines, and flag changes in scope or timing before commitments are missed.
• Client-Focused Approach: Mindset prioritizing the needs and challenges of clients in content creation.
• Innovative and Creative Thinking: Capacity to bring fresh ideas and stay ahead of industry trends.
Education Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent directly relevant professional experience.
