Responsibilities:
• Performs operational activities independently in accordance with established procedures, work instructions and operational requirements.
• Operates equipment, tools, materials or systems safely and effectively to support operational objectives.
• Ensures consistent compliance with quality standards, work instructions and operational procedures.
• Monitors operational processes and identifies deviations, issues or inefficiencies requiring attention or corrective action.
• Supports achievement of productivity, quality, delivery and operational performance targets within the area of responsibility.
• Assists in onboarding, training or supporting less experienced colleagues in the application of established work methods and procedures.
• Contributes to continuous improvement activities by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, safety or workplace organisation.
• Maintains compliance with safety requirements, workplace regulations and company standards.
• Collaborates with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth operational flow and achievement of operational objectives.
• Builds operational capability through practical experience, cross-training and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
• Operational knowledge typically acquired through practical experience, vocational preparation, on-the-job training or equivalent workplace experience.
• Ability to independently perform operational activities in accordance with established procedures, standards and work instructions.
• Good understanding of relevant equipment, tools, materials, systems or operational processes within the area of responsibility.
• Ability to identify routine operational issues and support resolution through appropriate actions and adherence to procedures.
• Ability to maintain quality, productivity and safety standards while managing multiple operational activities.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate constructively with colleagues and supervisors.
• Ability to support less experienced colleagues through knowledge sharing and demonstration of established work practices.
• Commitment to safety, quality, reliability and continuous improvement within the workplace.
