Technical Service Engineer – Sudan

We are looking for a Technical Service Engineer based in Sudan to provide technical support, on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, and after-sales services for our solar PV and energy storage products.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support for SOFAR solar inverters, hybrid inverters, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
Perform on-site installation inspections, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of PV and energy storage systems.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues remotely and on-site to ensure customer satisfaction.
Support system delivery, testing, configuration, and commissioning for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Provide technical training and guidance to local distributors, installers, EPC partners, and customers.
Work closely with regional technical teams and the China headquarters to resolve complex technical issues.
Prepare service reports, maintain technical documentation, and follow up on customer cases.
Provide technical service support in Sudan and other assigned regional markets when required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Electronics, or a related technical field.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in solar PV, inverters, energy storage systems, or electrical field service.
Hands-on experience in equipment installation, commissioning, electrical troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Good understanding of solar PV systems, electrical wiring, inverter operation, and battery storage technologies.
Experience with BESS commissioning, industrial electrical systems, or three-phase inverters is highly preferred.
Ability to read electrical drawings and use electrical testing instruments.
Good communication skills in English and Arabic.
Valid driving license and willingness to travel for on-site technical support.
Strong problem-solving skills, customer service mindset, and ability to work independently.
Relevant electrical qualifications or certifications are an advantage.
