Role Description The Vice President of Global Project Strategy is a full-time remote leadership role responsible for defining and overseeing the strategic direction of Crystal Blue IT’s global project portfolio. This position leads the design and execution of complex IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client outcomes across sectors and regions. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing project and program strategies, guiding digital transformation roadmaps, and coordinating with delivery teams to ensure projects are scoped, resourced, and executed effectively. The role involves advising clients on strategic priorities, monitoring financial performance and risk across projects, and establishing governance frameworks and performance metrics. The Vice President of Global Project Strategy collaborates with senior leadership to refine service offerings, support business development, and drive continuous improvement in project methodologies and tools.
Qualifications
Strong Strategic Planning and Digital Strategy skills, with experience shaping multi-year roadmaps and transformation programs.
Advanced Analytical Skills and Finance acumen to evaluate project performance, manage budgets, and support data-driven decisions.
Consulting experience, including advising executive stakeholders, framing complex problems, and designing practical solutions.
Proven leadership in global project or program management, preferably within IT services, digital transformation, or cloud-focused environments.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed setting and lead cross-functional, multicultural teams.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
Background in information technology, business, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA or similar) is advantageous.
Familiarity with project management frameworks (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Agile) and modern collaboration and reporting tools.
