Role Description The Vice President of Finance is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the financial strategy and health of Crystal Blue IT. This position manages financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth objectives and operational priorities. The role includes overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports, maintaining internal controls, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The Vice President of Finance will collaborate closely with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making, evaluate investments, and optimize cash flow and profitability. Day-to-day tasks involve monitoring key financial metrics, guiding finance team members, improving financial processes and systems, and presenting clear insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong finance and financial planning skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial management.
Candidates should possess expertise in financial reporting and financial statements, with the ability to interpret and present complex financial data clearly.
Candidates should possess advanced analytical skills to evaluate financial performance, assess risks, and support data-driven decisions.
Extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles, ideally within technology or professional services organizations.
Thorough understanding of accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and financial compliance frameworks.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams in a remote or distributed environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is highly beneficial.
