Regional Finance Director

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Regional Finance Director. The Regional Finance Director will oversee financial planning and budgeting for assigned regions, monitor performance against targets, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. This role will manage the preparation, review, and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting packages. The Regional Finance Director will partner with regional operations and functional leaders to evaluate business cases, optimize profitability, and ensure compliance with internal controls and applicable standards. Additional responsibilities include leading or supporting forecasting processes, improving reporting tools, mentoring regional finance staff, and contributing to long-term strategic and capital planning.
Qualifications
Strong Finance and Analytical Skills to interpret complex data, assess trends, and support sound business decisions
Experience in Financial Planning and Forecasting to develop budgets, long-range plans, and scenario analyses
Proficiency in Financial Reporting and Financial Statements, including consolidation, variance analysis, and management reporting
Advanced skills with Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with ERP and reporting systems
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, MBA) is preferred
Proven experience in regional or multi-site financial leadership, with responsibility for P&L management
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) or relevant local standards and internal control best practices
