Role Description The Senior Associate will work full time on-site at the Ahmedabad office, providing end-to-end support on transactional and dispute-related matters. Daily responsibilities include drafting and reviewing contracts, pleadings, and advisory notes; preparing case strategies; and managing matters before courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities. The role involves conducting detailed legal research, analyzing statutes and case law, and presenting practical solutions tailored to client needs. The Senior Associate will mentor junior team members, coordinate with clients and counsel, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables that align with the firm’s ethical and professional standards.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in core practice areas such as Banking and Finance, Corporate Commercial, and Real Estate and Construction.
Substantial experience in Dispute Resolution, including Litigation and Arbitration, with the ability to handle complex and high-value matters. Drafting of writ petitions, reply and rejoinder.
Working knowledge of specialized domains such as Intellectual Property, Labour Laws, RERA Law, Cosmetic Law, and Prevention of Sexual Harassment Law. Sebi, Banking Laws( DRT),
Advanced legal drafting, reviewing, and negotiation skills, with attention to detail and clarity in written communication.
Proficiency in legal research tools and methodologies, and the ability to translate research into practical, actionable advice.
Excellent client-handling, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork and mentoring.
LL.B. (and preferably LL.M.) from a recognized university, with several years of post-qualification experience in a reputable law firm or corporate legal role.
High professional integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
