Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Storekeeper role based in the Pune Division. The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, unloading, and verifying incoming materials, ensuring that all items are accurately recorded and stored in designated locations. Daily tasks include maintaining inventory records, issuing materials to project teams, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating packing and dispatch of materials as needed. The role also involves organizing the store area for safe and efficient access, operating material-handling equipment where required, and supporting regular stock checks and audits. The Storekeeper collaborates with procurement, logistics, and site teams to prevent material shortages and minimize discrepancies.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Control and Inventory Management to maintain accurate stock levels and records.
Candidates should possess skills in Packing and Unloading to handle materials safely and prepare items for storage or dispatch.
Candidates should possess skills in Forklift Operation or other material-handling equipment, with relevant certifications where applicable.
Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory or ERP systems are beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work on-site in a warehouse or yard environment, following safety procedures and company policies.
Previous experience in storekeeping, warehousing, or construction/engineering project sites is an advantage.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics or store management is a plus.
