Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hiring / HR Manager role for pharma factory operations, based in Roorkee, with a compensation range of ₹6–7 LPA. The role involves managing end-to-end HR and factory-level personnel functions, including overseeing wages and salary administration for plant employees, ensuring accurate and timely processing in line with company policies and labor regulations. The HR Manager will handle PF and ESI operations, statutory compliance related to labor laws and factory rules, and maintain HR records and documentation. Daily responsibilities include liaisoning with government and statutory authorities, coordinating audits and inspections, resolving employee queries and grievances, and supporting workforce planning, onboarding, and employee engagement at the factory. The role is suited for professionals who can join immediately and work closely with plant leadership to maintain a compliant, productive, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in wages, salary administration, and payroll processes for factory and plant employees.
Hands-on experience in PF, ESI, and other statutory benefits administration, including filings and compliance.
In-depth knowledge of labor laws, factory act provisions, and statutory compliance requirements in the pharma manufacturing context.
Proven ability in liaisoning with government departments, statutory bodies, and external auditors or inspectors.
Experience in HR operations for manufacturing or pharma plants, including attendance management, leave administration, and employee records.
Skills in employee relations, grievance handling, conflict resolution, and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
Proficiency in HR documentation, reporting, and use of HRIS or payroll software; strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with factory leadership and cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; specialized training in labor laws or industrial relations is an advantage.
