D365 Business Central Functional Consultant

Role Description The D365 Business Central Functional Consultant will work on-site in India in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing existing business processes, designing and configuring system functionalities, and preparing functional specifications for development and integrations. The consultant will conduct workshops, lead user training, support data migration, and perform system testing to ensure solutions meet operational and compliance needs. The role also involves providing ongoing functional support, troubleshooting issues, and recommending process improvements and best practices to maximize the value of D365 Business Central for clients.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills to gather requirements, map processes, and solve complex functional problems.
Excellent Communication abilities to collaborate with stakeholders, conduct workshops, and document functional specifications clearly.
Solid understanding of Business Process design, optimization, and workflow mapping across key operational areas.
Consulting experience, including client engagement, solution recommendation, and stakeholder management in ERP or business applications projects.
Foundational knowledge of Finance processes such as general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and reporting within ERP environments.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or related Microsoft Dynamics products is highly beneficial.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in Microsoft Dynamics or ERP consulting are an advantage.
