Role Description The Electrical Testing Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The person in this role will perform routine and specialized electrical tests on systems and equipment to verify performance, safety, and regulatory compliance. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and executing test plans, documenting test results, identifying faults or performance issues, and recommending corrective actions. The Electrical Testing Engineer will coordinate with project and maintenance teams, interpret technical drawings and specifications, and ensure all testing activities follow industry standards and company procedures. The role may also involve supporting inspections, calibrating testing instruments, and preparing reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Test Engineering, including understanding of electrical testing methodologies and standards.
Hands-on experience in Test Execution and working with electrical testing tools and instruments.
Ability to design, review, and maintain Test Cases aligned with project and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in general Testing practices, including planning, documentation, and reporting.
Experience in Functional Testing of electrical systems, panels, and equipment.
Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on-site.
Prior experience in electrical services, commissioning, or maintenance is an advantage.
