Business Intelligence Manager

Role Description The Business Intelligence Manager is a part-time, remote role responsible for designing and managing business intelligence solutions that support strategic decision-making across the association. This role includes gathering requirements from stakeholders, developing data models, and organizing data warehousing structures to ensure accurate and reliable information is available. The Business Intelligence Manager builds and maintains dashboards and reports using appropriate business intelligence tools, presenting insights that highlight trends, opportunities, and risks. Daily tasks involve analyzing complex datasets, ensuring data quality, and translating findings into clear recommendations for leadership and project teams. The role also includes collaborating with internal and external partners to improve reporting processes and support evidence-based planning for economic development initiatives.

Candidates should possess proficiency with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms).
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
Experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or reporting, preferably within economic development, non-profit, or international business contexts.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in a remote, multicultural environment.
High attention to detail, commitment to data integrity, and the ability to manage multiple projects on a part-time schedule.
