Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Technical Marketing Specialist with at least 5 years of experience in IT staffing, technical recruiting, candidate marketing, or IT talent acquisition. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT roles, technical skill sets, and candidate profiles, with the ability to effectively market qualified IT professionals to clients, hiring managers, and staffing partners.
The candidate must be skilled at reviewing technical resumes, understanding job requirements, identifying candidate strengths, preparing compelling candidate profiles, and presenting candidates in a way that aligns with client expectations. The individual must also be comfortable working U.S. Central Time business hours.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and analyze technical candidate resumes to understand their skills, experience, certifications, and project backgrounds.
* Prepare compelling candidate marketing summaries, professional profiles, and submission notes tailored to specific job descriptions.
* Match candidate qualifications against client requirements and identify relevant technical skills and experience.
* Market IT candidates to prospective clients, hiring managers, vendor partners, and staffing agencies.
* Highlight candidates’ technical expertise, project achievements, industry experience, and key differentiators.
* Collaborate with recruiters, account managers, sales teams, and business development professionals to support candidate placements.
* Understand technical job descriptions across areas such as Linux/Unix, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Networking, Database Administration, Infrastructure, and Software Development.
* Ensure candidate profiles are accurate, professionally presented, and aligned with client requirements.
* Maintain candidate marketing records, submission status, client feedback, and follow-up activities in ATS or CRM platforms.
* Communicate professionally with internal teams and external clients to support timely candidate submissions.
* Follow up on marketed profiles and help improve candidate visibility and placement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT staffing, technical recruiting, candidate marketing, IT recruitment sales support, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of IT technical roles, technologies, certifications, and industry terminology.
* Proven ability to analyze resumes and understand technical candidate profiles.
* Experience preparing candidate summaries, marketing profiles, and client submission documents.
* Ability to interpret technical job descriptions and align candidate skills with client requirements.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple candidate profiles and submissions.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, ATS platforms, CRM systems, and recruiting tools.
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
* Must be available to work during U.S. Central Time (CT) business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with IT staffing firms, consulting companies, or technology recruitment agencies.
* Familiarity with W2, C2C, and contract staffing models.
* Experience marketing senior-level and specialized technical candidates.
* Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
* Familiarity with technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, VMware, Terraform, Ansible, Linux, Windows Server, Oracle, and MySQL.
* Experience using LinkedIn, professional networking platforms, and candidate sourcing tools.
* Ability to communicate technical candidate value propositions to clients and hiring managers.
