Role Description
We are looking for a creative and motivated Graphic UI Designer Intern to join our remote team for a 3–6 month internship. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who have basic knowledge of graphic design tools and are eager to develop their skills in UI design, visual communication, and digital product design.
The intern will work closely with the design team to create engaging visual assets, design user interfaces, develop layout concepts, and support ongoing creative projects. Candidates will have opportunities to learn through practical assignments, feedback, and collaboration with experienced team members.
Key Responsibilities
Create visually appealing graphics and digital design assets.
Assist in designing user interfaces for websites and mobile applications.
Develop layouts, wireframes, and basic prototypes using Figma.
Support branding, typography, color selection, and visual consistency.
Use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create and edit design assets.
Follow brand guidelines and maintain consistency across design projects.
Incorporate feedback and make revisions to improve design quality.
Collaborate remotely with designers and other team members.
Organize design files and prepare assets for handoff.
Qualifications and Skills
Basic working knowledge of Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
Understanding of graphic design fundamentals, including typography, color theory, composition, and layout.
Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles.
Interest in website and mobile application interface design.
Willingness to learn responsive design, design systems, and accessibility fundamentals.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
Ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and respond positively to feedback.
A portfolio showcasing personal projects, academic work, or previous design assignments is preferred.
A degree, diploma, or relevant qualification in design is preferred but not mandatory.
Internship Details
Duration: 3–6 months, depending on the candidate's progress and the internship arrangement.
Compensation: This is an unpaid internship.
