Role Description This is a full-time Professional Driver role based in Tiruppur with a hybrid work arrangement, where some administrative or scheduling tasks may be completed from home. The Professional Driver will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles, picking up and dropping off passengers, and ensuring all trips are completed on time. Daily activities include following assigned routes, adhering to traffic and safety regulations, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and conducting basic vehicle checks before and after trips. The driver will interact with customers, assist with luggage when needed, handle cash or digital payments, and report any incidents or maintenance needs to the supervisor. The role also involves coordinating with dispatch for trip assignments and providing clear, courteous communication to passengers throughout their journey.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong truck driving skills and experience operating commercial vehicles such as trucks or larger taxis.
Candidates should possess a valid CDL Class A or equivalent heavy vehicle license, with a clean driving record and familiarity with local routes.
Candidates should possess clear and professional communication skills to coordinate with dispatch and interact with passengers effectively.
Candidates should possess excellent customer service skills, including courtesy, patience, and a focus on passenger comfort and safety.
Candidates should possess knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance checks and safe handling of the truck or taxi in varied traffic and weather conditions.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by business needs.
Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and adherence to safety and company policies.
Previous experience as a professional driver, taxi driver, or commercial driver in Tiruppur or surrounding areas is an advantage.
