Role Description This part-time remote Plant Operations Specialist role focuses on supporting halal-compliant plant operations and continuous improvement activities. The Plant Operations Specialist will monitor and analyze production processes, coordinate with on-site teams to ensure adherence to operational standards, and assist in implementing process control measures. Responsibilities include reviewing preventive maintenance plans, preparing operational documentation and reports, and providing guidance on best practices in plant operations and halal compliance. The role also involves participating in virtual meetings, training sessions, and audits, as well as supporting the development of standard operating procedures and performance metrics.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Plant Operations and Operations Management to support efficient, compliant, and safe production activities.
Candidates should possess Supervisory Skills to coordinate with plant personnel, provide guidance, and support effective team communication.
Candidates should possess expertise in Preventive Maintenance to help plan, review, and optimize maintenance schedules and procedures.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Process Control to monitor key parameters, analyze data, and recommend improvements to operational performance.
Relevant experience in food processing, manufacturing, or halal-certified operations is highly beneficial.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing abilities, with proficiency in digital collaboration tools and basic office software.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage part-time hours effectively, and communicate clearly in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
A diploma or degree in engineering, industrial management, food science, or a related field is preferred, along with familiarity with quality and safety standards.
