Key Responsibilities
Lead structural engineering assessments, building inspections, and condition evaluations.
Review structural drawings, technical reports, calculations, and inspection findings to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
Identify structural defects, safety risks, and potential building integrity issues, recommending appropriate corrective measures.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve technical challenges.
Oversee inspection schedules, site assessments, quality assurance, and engineering documentation.
Provide technical guidance, prepare assessment reports, and support repair, rehabilitation, and structural improvement works.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in structural engineering, building inspection, structural assessment, or engineering consultancy.
Strong knowledge of structural design principles, construction methods, building codes, and safety standards.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, assess structural conditions, and develop practical technical solutions.
Excellent analytical, leadership, reporting, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Professional engineering registration and relevant inspection certifications are an advantage.
