SEO and AI Search (GEO) Specialist

Compensation: ₹6 to 8 LPA, based on experience
About the role
We’re a fast-growing tech startup. We need someone who has done real SEO and also understands how AI search works. Your job is to get our brand ranking on Google and recommended by AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini.
What you’ll do
Plan and run our SEO: keyword research, on-page, technical and link building
Do GEO/AEO, so our brand shows up in AI answers and recommendations
Structure and publish content and data in a format AI systems can find, understand and cite
Set up schema markup, structured data, FAQs and entity signals
Build brand mentions and citations on sources AI tools trust (directories, reviews, forums, press)
Test prompts regularly across AI tools and track whether we get recommended
Use AI tools to scale content, research and workflows
Track rankings, traffic and AI visibility, and report on what’s working
What we’re looking for
4+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with results you can show
Good understanding of how LLMs and AI search pick what to recommend
Hands-on with ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini, and comfortable with prompting
Strong with Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush or Ahrefs
Solid technical SEO: site speed, crawling, indexing, schema
Local SEO and Google Business Profile experience
Clear written English
Good to have
Experience with AI visibility tools (Ahrefs Brand Radar, Profound, etc.)
Basic automation (Zapier, n8n, Make) or light scripting
Experience with a startup, marketplace or e-commerce site
