Role Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Senior BeyondTrust Engineer to support the implementation, administration, optimization, and day-to-day operations of the BeyondTrust Privileged Access Management (PAM) platform.
The candidate should have strong experience with BeyondTrust Password Safe (Secret Safe) and Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM), including enterprise-scale implementation, privileged account onboarding, security controls, troubleshooting, and audit support.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain BeyondTrust Password Safe and Endpoint Privilege Management environments.
Configure password vaults, account discovery, password rotation, and session management.
Lead onboarding of servers, databases, network devices, applications, and privileged accounts.
Design privileged access workflows, approval processes, and access controls.
Implement EPM policies, application control, elevation policies, and least-privilege strategies.
Perform platform upgrades, patching, maintenance, and health monitoring.
Develop automation and integrations using APIs, scripting, and enterprise tools.
Troubleshoot PAM incidents, password checkout issues, account discovery, and endpoint policy problems.
Support security audits, compliance reporting, remediation of audit findings, and control improvements.
Collaborate with infrastructure, database, application, security, and operations teams.
Support PAM roadmap execution and platform maturity improvements.
Mandatory Skills
Hands-on experience implementing and supporting BeyondTrust PAM solutions.
Strong experience with BeyondTrust Password Safe (Secret Safe).
Experience implementing and supporting Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM).
Privileged account onboarding, password rotation, and account discovery.
Session management, monitoring, and auditing.
Experience onboarding Windows, Linux/Unix servers, Oracle databases, SQL Server databases, network devices, and service accounts.
Strong PAM troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
Knowledge of Active Directory / Entra ID, LDAP, Windows Server, and Linux/Unix administration.
Working knowledge of PowerShell, SQL, and REST APIs.
Experience in enterprise environments and production deployments.
Preferred Skills
ServiceNow integration and CyberArk migration experience.
BeyondTrust certifications.
Experience with Azure or AWS.
Knowledge of SOX, ISO 27001, CMMC, and security audit requirements.
Experience with privileged session recording and least-privilege programs.
Qualification Expectations
Candidates should demonstrate hands-on implementation experience, the ability to work independently, and experience supporting both operational activities and strategic PAM improvements.
