We are looking for an Officer, Security to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute, learn and grow while helping shape the experiences and impact we create across Costa Navarino.
In this position, you will help maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for guests, associates and visitors by conducting security patrols, monitoring access and responding appropriately to potential risks, incidents and emergencies in line with Costa Navarino’s standards.
Responsibilities
Verify and assist with guest arrivals, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
Verify, guide and record external contractors and scheduled appointments.
Check and record transportation to and from the resort.
Identify and resolve issues arising from interactions with guests, contractors and other visitors.
Ensure the smooth operation of all Main Gate systems and report any technical issues.
Inform the relevant teams promptly of VIP arrivals and other special guest categories.
Follow all health and safety procedures, hotel policies and Brand Standards at all times.
Attend company training sessions and seminars, keeping up to date with relevant industry trends and developments.
Requirements
High school diploma.
IEK qualification, a two-year technical certificate, a Private Security Personnel Certification Seminar or KEMEA certification will be considered relevant qualifications.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures and protocols.
Basic knowledge of applicable legislation.
Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm and patient in stressful situations.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Integrity, professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility.
