Role Description This is an on-site Software Engineer internship role based in Gurugram. The intern will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and tools that power Study Ark’s AI-driven education platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, implementing and testing new features, debugging and resolving technical issues, and collaborating with senior engineers on system architecture and performance improvements. The role also involves working closely with product and design teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, documenting code and processes, and participating in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
Practical experience or coursework in Software Development and Back-End Web Development.
Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
Familiarity with at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++).
Understanding of databases, APIs, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Ability to analyze problems, propose solutions, and learn new technologies quickly.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
