Senior Software Architect

Our established client is currently looking to recruit a Senior Software Architect on a permanent basis, working remotely.

£70,000 - £80,000 + Car & excellent package
Home based role
The successful candidate will have experience in the complete end to end design of solutions including system design, task planning, functional testing and integration support, and be confident working with C++. Within the role you will lead a small team, will take responsibility for the full design of solutions, will be supporting multiple software projects and will be developing source code in C++, C and Java. Key duties include –
Assessing the overall design and development time for a project and report this and any variance with the budget to the Project Manager
Developing source code in high level languages, primarily C++, C & Java
Identifying changes in scope and report to Systems project manager
Providing early life support for software when installed on a live site
Managing the rectification of project related software faults
Establishing productive technical relationships will all levels of suppliers and customers (Internal and external customers)
Holding functional testing and quality reviews
The ideal candidate will have experience working with WMS and WCS, however this isn’t essential.
