Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CAD Designer to support Road and Traffic Engineering projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate CAD drawings for road, traffic, and associated infrastructure works.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and update road layouts, profiles, cross-sections, and typical sections.
• Develop junction/intersection details and associated road drawings.
• Prepare traffic management and traffic engineering drawings.
• Produce infrastructure drawings based on engineering inputs, sketches, and design requirements.
• Coordinate with road, traffic, and other engineering disciplines to incorporate design changes.
• Maintain drawing accuracy, CAD standards, revision control, and document quality.
• Support engineers with drawing modifications and preparation of deliverables.
• Ensure drawings are completed in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.
Candidate Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in road and traffic-related CAD drafting/design.
Demonstrated experience preparing:
• Road layouts
• Profiles and sections
• Junction/intersection details
• Traffic management drawings
• Related infrastructure drawings
• Good proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and design inputs.
• Good coordination skills and attention to detail.
• For the Abu Dhabi position, UAE experience is preferred.
