Role Description The SQL Instructor will deliver structured, hands-on training in SQL and related database concepts to learners at various proficiency levels. This full-time, on-site role is based in Noida and involves designing curriculum, preparing lesson plans, and creating practical exercises, projects, and assessments aligned with industry expectations. The instructor will conduct classroom sessions, provide one-on-one support, review assignments, and offer feedback to help learners build strong data skills. The role includes collaborating with internal teams to integrate SQL learning paths into hackathons and hiring campaigns, updating course content based on emerging technologies, and maintaining accurate records of learner performance. The SQL Instructor is also expected to participate in workshops, demo sessions, and outreach events to promote data literacy and engagement on the Where U Elevate® platform.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts, including querying, joins, indexing, and optimization.
Experience with at least one major database system (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and basic knowledge of data modeling.
Demonstrated teaching, training, or mentoring experience, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to diverse audiences.
Curriculum design and content development skills for creating structured lessons, exercises, and assessments.
Comfort with using digital tools and learning platforms to deliver and track training programs.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a learner-centered and inclusive approach.
Ability to work on-site in Noida, manage classroom dynamics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; relevant certifications in SQL or databases are an advantage.
Familiarity with analytics, programming (such as Python or R), or AI-driven learning platforms is beneficial.
