Role Description
The Senior Compliance Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Nashik. This role is responsible for overseeing compliance programs, ensuring adherence to relevant legal, regulatory, and internal standards across facility management operations. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring compliance processes, conducting audits and risk assessments, reviewing documentation, and updating policies and procedures. The specialist collaborates with internal teams to provide guidance on regulatory requirements, prepares compliance reports, and supports training initiatives to promote a culture of accountability. The role also includes identifying areas for improvement and working with leadership to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Key Responsibilities
PF, ESIC & MLWF Compliance
Prepare and process PF, ESIC, and MLWF challans.
Coordinate PF and ESIC inspections.
Ensure timely payment of statutory dues in coordination with Finance.
Professional Tax (PT) Compliance
Prepare and file Professional Tax challans and returns for all applicable states.
Ensure timely and accurate statutory payments and submissions.
Licensing & Registration
Manage application and renewal of Labour Licenses, Shops & Establishment registrations, Trade Licenses, Food Licenses, and other applicable licenses across Pan India locations.
File annual and half-yearly statutory returns on time.
Coordinate with government departments and consultants.
Legal Cases
Handle labour law and statutory compliance-related legal cases across Pan India locations.
Submit timely replies to government notices and ensure case closure.
Government & Client Audits
Coordinate government and client audits related to labour laws and statutory compliance.
Maintain statutory registers, records, licenses, and required forms.
Ensure timely closure of audit observations and achieve the targeted audit score.
Labour Law Amendments & Training
Monitor changes in labour laws and statutory requirements.
Communicate amendments and conduct awareness sessions for relevant teams.
Bluetree Onboarding
Verify employee onboarding documents, including identity, education, and experience proofs.
Track onboarding status and follow up on pending documents.
Risk Management & Minimum Wages
Monitor minimum wage revisions across applicable states.
Coordinate with clients for wage revisions and arrears.
Ensure timely implementation of revised wages and related compliances to avoid penalties and legal risks.
