OT/ICS Security Deployment Engineer

About GridSafe Technology
GridSafe Technology builds on-premises OT security and NERC CIP evidence tools for power generation. Our platform, GridShield, collects evidence read-only from firewalls, RTACs, relays, inverters and meters at solar, wind and storage sites, keeps every record hash-chained, and fills RSAW worksheets for compliance teams.
The role
You install and commission GridShield at customer sites and make sure every device reports correctly. You turn a site's network drawing into a working, verified deployment.
What you'll do
Install the GridShield appliance and site Nodes (Rocky Linux) at customer sites and in customer data centers.
- Connect devices read-only: firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet) over SSH/API, SEL relays and RTACs, SunSpec inverters over Modbus TCP, DNP3 outstations, syslog and SNMP.
- Verify that inventory, configuration baselines and logs match what the devices actually report.
- Work with customer OT, IT and compliance staff on network paths, firewall rules and change windows.
- Write clear site runbooks and feed field findings back to the product team.
What you bring
3+ years in OT/ICS networking, substation or plant controls, or industrial cybersecurity.
- Hands-on with at least two of: Modbus TCP, DNP3, IEC 61850, SNMP, syslog.
- Comfortable on the Linux command line and with firewall and switch configuration.
- Able to travel to sites in the US.
- Nice to have: GICSP, GRID, CompTIA Security+, or NERC CIP field experience.
