Job Description :
Responsible for preparing Australian Self-Managed Superannuation Fund (SMSF) accounts, financial statements, tax return workpapers, and maintaining accurate accounting records under the supervision of a Senior SMSF Accountant or Reviewer.
The role involves processing SMSF transactions, performing basic reconciliations, and organizing supporting documents such as bank statements, investment reports, contribution records, pension details, and invoices.
Identify missing documents, incomplete information, and discrepancies, and raise appropriate queries for clarification. Assist with auditor queries and liaise with SMSF clients and auditors whenever required.
Ensure adherence to standard SMSF preparation checklists, maintain accurate working papers, and escalate complex accounting or compliance matters to the senior team for
