Associate Director, Fund Accounting




Our Fund Accounting team is growing!
We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director to join our Fund Accounting team. The role would suit someone with experience of accounting systems such as PCS and Yardi, as well as a strong interest in data analysis.

About the role
• Effectively manage the day-to-day activities of team members reporting to you, ensuring work is planned and allocated in order to meet client requirements and deadlines
• Collaborate with colleagues across all accounting locations, providing explanations, advice and accounting support as and when required
• Act as a role model to junior colleagues to assist in building, developing and motivating a high-performing accounting team
• Drive innovation in the delivery of financial reporting services using your experience and the tools available within the business
• Guide the team through complex transactions and consult with fund directors as required
• Build and develop relationships with clients, auditors and third-party service providers
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure client expectations and deadlines are properly managed
• Collaborate with client administration and other colleagues to resolve accounting queries, providing explanations and accounting support as and when required
About you
• Candidates must have entitled or registered status in Jersey, Channel Islands
• Qualified ACCA/ACA or equivalent, with good up-to-date technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS, including their practical application
• Knowledge of US GAAP and Luxembourg GAAP would be an advantage
• Previous experience of accounting systems, particularly PCS and Yardi, would be an advantage
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• An aptitude for data analysis and problem-solving
