About The Role
You will build the intelligence behind our personal health wallet, working with product, design and engineering to turn complex health information into clear, useful experiences. The role spans patient context models, conversational AI, voice, and agents that complete tasks. You will help decide where AI adds value, test ideas quickly and bring the ones that work into production.
What You''''ll Do
Build models and systems that connect health records, patient input and daily activity into one clear view of a person''''s health. Develop AI experiences that help people understand their information and find their way through care. Build conversational and voice interfaces that make Bishop easy to use. Develop agents that use tools and services to help people complete tasks. Create evaluations that measure accuracy, reliability and usefulness. Take ideas from early experiments to production, and help shape Bishop''''s AI direction as the product grows.
What You Bring
You have prior experience building software or ML systems that run in production.
You write strong Python and have built AI/ML applications that real people use.
You have worked hands-on with LLMs, retrieval, structured data and tool use, and you can connect models to APIs, data pipelines and product systems.
You test how a model behaves, and you can make it more accurate, faster and cheaper.
You know when AI is the right tool and when a simpler method is better.
You communicate clearly and work easily across product and engineering. Above all, you care about user trust, privacy and the quality of health information.
NICE TO HAVE
Experience with healthcare data or products (or you can learn the domain on the job). Voice AI, speech processing or conversational systems. Personalisation, knowledge graphs, or models that use data over time. Agent workflows and communication between agents. Building products from an early stage.
