Role: Python Developer
Day Rate: £425 p.d (Inside IR35)
Client: UK Gov Department/Consultancy
Location: Up to 3 days pw in office (Can be based in Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, or Newcastle)
Clearance: BPSS
Duration: 3-6 months
Futureheads is partnered with a leading tech consultancy that specialises in delivering complex and high-impact projects within central government.
They're looking for a Backend Developer with Python experience to join an early stage transformation programme with one of their biggest gov clients.
Essential Requirements:
Worked as a Software Developer on a public sector project.
Highly proficient in Python.
Experience with Flask, FastAPI, HTML, OAuth/OIDC, JSON, MongoDB, Linux, Docker, AWS, git, DevOps.
Familiar with GDS standards and the GOV.UK Design System.
TDD & BDD experience.
Excellent communication skills and comfortable managing stakeholders in a client-facing environment.
